    Highlights About Your Town Bethel

If you’re new to Bethel, you might not have experienced kitchen contractors in Fairfield County quite like this.  This Connecticut town is only approximately 69 miles from New York City. Its population was 18,584 at the 2010 census. The town has a number of places to enjoy for food lovers.

First off is Sycamore Drive In. It’s an old drive-in with the standard burger, fries, pancakes and eggs etc. on the menu but the fascinating thing about this place is its atmosphere. A large neon sign, with black and white floor and cherry stools, it gives the perfect vintage feel of 1948, the year it started its operations.

Next, is Molten Java, which is only a few blocks away from Sycamore Drive in. It’s a local place admired for its musicians, artists and creatives of all kinds. Their speciality includes their house-roasted coffee.

Turning left out of Molten Java, across the train tracks was the statue of P.T Barnum born in Bethel 1810. Across the street is a bookworm’s paradise called Byrd’s Books. Apart from great recommendations for books, they always have great events happening organized by the bookstore to keep the locals engaged.

One of the best food combo includes burritos and beer and Broken Symmetry Gastro Brewery serves the best ones. Their speciality is the San Diego style burritos. The brewery is housed in an 1800’s former train station. It’s a nice outdoor place with long tables and light bulbs. During the warmer months, watching the trains go by is fun.

If you are looking to burn some beer and burrito calories, the local favorite hike would be Huntington State Park. Walking a little further than the clear field right near the parking lot, opens you up to an interconnected system of ponds that provides a pleasant view of nature. Substitute Blue Jay Orchards if you are visiting during Apple season.

Ok, there is no such thing as a second lunch but after all that food you are still hungry try bethel’s best Lebanese Cuisine or Vietnamese place called Sprouts. Falafel and pho and banh mi sandwiches will for sure not leave you hungry anymore.

Bethel’s bar scene is pretty lit with several spots for beer and cocktails. J.Lawrence Downtown is a personal favourite. Note Kitchen, Ecco’s Rooftop and J’s Homemade Elderberry Syrup are some of the places they enjoyed as well.

Bethel Cinema is a quirky little theatre perfect for the small town. They specialize in art-house fare and sometimes a mainstream movie is thrown in the mix. The best thing about the theatre was the authentic butter-rich popcorn which was both less expensive and better tasting than the regular. Walk over to Taproot after the movie, a restaurant which shares a door with the theatre. This place offers farm-sourced cooking and if you are lucky you might come across Bushido- a monthly event where they turn the place into a Japanese restaurant and serve Ramen.

No matter how full you are, you can’t leave Bethel without stopping by Dr Mike’s Ice Cream because dessert goes to the heart. It’s a homemade ice cream parlour that offers a variety of flavors with seasonal ingredients and huge servings.

Along with offering services in Bethel, Kitchen Infinity also offers services like kitchen remodeling in Bridgeport.
