I simply poured 3 cups of cool water in both pans and placed them on the burner at high heat.

Using a stopwatch to measure the time taken for the water to simmer, I noted that the Hexclad pan boiled the water at around 2.5 minutes at medium heat, whereas the Caraway pan took nearly 3 minutes to heat it up. Thus, this proved that Hexclad cookware conducted heat better as stainless steel combined with an aluminum core is far more effective when exposed to heat.

I simply removed both pans from the burner and drained out the water.
