Nestled in the northeast of Westchester County, the town of North Salem is just 24 square miles and home to 5000 people which is exactly half of the population of Mohegan Lake. 50 miles from midtown Manhattan, the town was once a forested wilderness, later carved into a farming community in the early 1730s.
