Kitchen Remodelers in Smithtown and More!

About 50 miles away from New York City and almost a half an hour away from the Atlantic Ocean beaches, on the north shore of Suffolk County, lies one of Long Island's most beautiful towns. It has a population of approximately 117,801  according to the 2010 Census, which is greater than the Riverhead but four times less than Brookhaven and almost three times less than Town of Islip. The kitchen renovations happening in Brookhavean are next level. During summers, the weather generally gets warm and hot, while the winters are very cold, rainy, and windy; and all year round, it is partly cloudy.

Historically, the Town of Smithtown was founded by Richard Smith, an English immigrant from Yorkshire, and his family, who chose to live on the banks of Nissequogue River on Long Island's North. Formerly known as the Smithfield, a beautiful story is attached to the town's name. Local legends have it that a Native American chief offered Richard Smith all of the lands he could cover by riding on a bull within one day after he retrieved Chief's kidnapped daughter. Hearing the longest day, Richard Smith chose the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. In that way,
Smith had earned the land, which approximately covers the area of the current Smithtown. It encompasses three villages ( Head of the Harbor, Nissequogue, Village of the Branch) and eight hamlets  some of which  are: Kings Park, Nesconset, Smithtown, St. James.

Smithtown takes pride in being home to one of the best school districts on the Island. There are four public school districts in the township, two of which are totally within its limits. Town's downtown revitalization has started to see new life in the last two years, with the initiative to seed three business districts. Either underway, approved or almost finished, the town has 2.1 million square feet of commercial construction. Since it is primarily a bedroom community, residential units are more in demand here. Although, if your property in Smithtown has been listed for an extended period, we suggest renovating the kitchen in Smithtown. Statistics have shown that a house's value increases by 10% if it has a beautiful and new kitchen. The city does have bus services, served entirely by Suffolk County Transit bus routes and railroad lines, but lacks any commercial airport service availability, which causes difficulty for people coming from remote areas.

Smithtown isn't as famous as other U.S. towns, or not as big as the other towns, but don't let this fool you. This small looking town is a beautiful tourist destination worth visiting in the future.

You would be shocked by some of the exciting things to do and locations you will see at this remote destination. The kitchen remodeling in NY is reaching new peaks because of the great real estate appreciation. A few hours of a side trip can certainly be arranged here before traveling to New York City or Hartford. There, you will find 25 town parks, four state parks, four pristine beaches, Long Beach, Short Beach, Kings Park Bluff, and Callahan's Beach, and much more. Right on the north shore of the Long Island, commuters enjoy a glimpse of the Caleb Smith State Park Preserve, a place mainly of nature preserve.

Hiking, fishing, and cross-country skiing are something locals love there. The Animal Shelter of Town is another cool place to visit, which provides anyone a wide range of adoption services. They have you covered, from spray and neutering, animal care, adoption, dog licensing, and even more! They accept stray animals, pets from households where owners can no longer care for them, and people who have moved away and abandoned their pets.
